Youth Tackle Football

The YMCA is happy to offer both 5th and 6th grade as well as 7th and 8th grade tackle football. The Mt. Sterling teams will play in the Quincy YMCA league which begins in August. Boys entering 5th and 6th grade and 7th and 8th grade in the ’08 – ‘09 school year are eligible to participate. Registration begins June 26th for members and June 28th for nonmembers. Twenty – three roster spots for each team will be allowed and will be determined on a first come, first serve basis. Weigh-in and equipment handout will be held July 24th. Most games will be played in Quincy, however Mt. Sterling will host a game or two as well. Parents will be responsible for transportation to and from games. All equipment will be provided except for cleats. Cost for the leagues is $62 for members and $88 for nonmembers

5TH/6TH And 7th/8th Tackle Football

The Mt. Sterling YMCA offers tackle football leagues for both 5th & 6th grades as well as 7th & 8th grades. Registration begins in June of each year.
