Valentine's Day Tiny Tot Party

Join the YMCA for a morning of Valentine fun for the whole family on Saturday, February 13th from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. There will be Valentine's Day crafts and games for children to play as well as a light breakfast with refreshments. The cost is $5 for YMCA members ($3 for each additional child) and $8 for nonmembers ($5 for each additional child). Children under 2 years old and adults are free. Children 10 years old and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Babysitters and siblings 16 years and older accompanying children are free. Walk-ins are welcome but pre-registration is appreciated by February 10th.

Indoor Toddler Tball

Does your child have cabin fever? Then bring them out to the YMCA for Indoor Toddler T-ball for youth 4 years old through kindergarten. The 5 week program will be held on Wednesday evenings beginning March 10th. Registrations are due March 4th. Cost for the program is $14 for members and $21 for non members. All participants will receive a t-shirt. Volunteers are needed!

Saturday with the Easter Bunny

Here comes Peter Cottontail, hopping down the bunny trail all the way to the YMCA. Kids, you won't want to miss this opportunity to visit with the Easter Bunny on Saturday, March 27th from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Enjoy a light breakfast, make a fun craft and get hopping with some fun bunny games. Plus, don't forget to bring your Easter basket for our Easter egg hunt (outside, if weather permits). Be sure to bring your camera for pictures with the Easter Bunny. Mom and Me Baking Class

Mothers spend time with your children and learn how to bake together on Wednesday, May 5th starting at 6:30 p.m. Brenda Derrick with the University of Illinois Extension will teach you how to make tasty treats in the Y's kitchen so you can make them in your kitchen. This will be a hands-on class with each mother/child pairing learning the steps from prepping to baking. Don't miss out on this wonderful chance to create a memory that will last a lifetime. Registration deadline is Friday, April 30th. The cost for this class will be announced in the coming weeks.
