ZUMBA
It's your turn to join the Party! The YMCA is thrilled to offer several more classes of this fitness craze that is sweeping the nation. Zumba combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow you to dance away your worries. The belief among zumba-lovers is that a workout should be fun and easy to do. Each six week class cost $48 for members and $77 for non members, unless otherwise noted below. Enrollment numbers are limited so register early to reserve your spot.

Boot Camp
Due to its overwhelming popularity, the Mt. Sterling Community Center YMCA will be offering two sessions and three class times for Boot Camp this fall. These 6 week classes will put individuals through a series of exercises that promote body fat loss and tones muscles. Boot Camp is a high intensity fitness class. Previous exercise experience is recommended.
The first course will meet Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. with the class beginning September 8th. Course two will meet Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. beginning September 7th. Course three will be Monday and Wednesday's at noon beginning September 20th.
The YMCA will then offer a second session of both evening classes (Mon/Wed and Tues/Thurs) that will begin October 25th and October 26th. Enrollment is limited to 13 in each course so register early. Cost is $50 for members and $75 for non members.
30 Minute Crunch Club
Need to tone those ab's but are short on time? This 30 minute high intensity exercise class can help. This workout program designed by a personal fitness coach will put participants through a circuit of gut busting abdominal exercises as well as intense cardio and calisthenics! The six week class meets every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. beginning September 1st. The crunch club is limited to only 12 participants so be sure to sign up early to ensure a spot! Registrations are due August 30th. Cost for the crunch club is $17 for members and $34 for non-members.
Fitness Fountain of Youth
The YMCA will again be offering Fitness Fountain of Youth beginning September 23rd. This 6 week class will meet Thursday mornings at 10:30 a.m. This course will put active older adults through a series of exercises that promotes strength, flexibility and improved cardiovascular health. After 35 minutes of exercise participants are encouraged to stay and enjoy juice, coffee and great conversation! Cost is $20 for members and $38 for non members, with registrations due September 20th.
Losing Inches Lunch Club
Back by popular demand, the YMCA will offer the Losing Inches Lunch Club beginning November 10th. This 45 minute workout program, designed by a personal trainer, will put participants through a series of exercises which include circuit training, cardiovascular exercise, and free weight training. All exercises are geared toward helping participants look and feel better! The six week class meets every Monday and Wednesday at noon. The club is limited to only ten participants so be sure to sign up early to ensure a spot. Cost for the program is $34 for members and $48 for non-members.
