Nursery Care
Most new memberships require a one-time joiner fee and then monthly membership fees. Membership may be paid annually or monthly. Annual memberships are paid once a year at a set renewal date. Monthly memberships must be paid by bank draft. This is a monthly draw on a savings or check account. Some exceptions to the monthly bank draft payment can be made through consideration of the management staff.
Membership bank drafts and payroll deductions may be stopped with written notice 30 days prior to the next scheduled deduction. Joiner fees are non-refundable.
Payment may be made by cash, check, MasterCard or Visa.
The membership categories, descriptions, and rates are as follows and are effective as February 01, 2010:
Family Membership - Two married adults or two married adults and any dependant children living in the same household age 18 and under, or up to age 23 if a full-time college student.

New members are required to pay joiner fees:
$50 for Family Memberships
$40 for Single Adult Memberships
No joiner fee is required for High School/College or Youth memberships.
Financial Assistance:
The Mt. Sterling Community Center YMCA membership and/or program financial assistance program allows individuals and families with limited income to fully participate in YMCA membership opportunities and programs.

A single day pass may be purchased at the Welcome Desk.

Youth Guidelines:
5 and Under: |
Must be supervised by a parent at all times or placed in the nursery for supervised care |
9 and Under: |
A parent or adult age 16 or older must be present in the building as responsible party. |
Upper Level Usage: |
Must be at least 14 years of age, or 13 with completion of “Youth Weight Training” class |
Whirlpool Usage: |
Must be at least 16 to utilize the whirlpool without adult supervision |
Track Usage: |
Must be at least 10 years of age and accompanied by an adult on
Monday– Friday evenings from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Sunday afternoons from 12:00 – 5:00 p.m. only |
Photo Policy
The YMCA, on occasion, may photograph or videotape registrants and participants in YMCA activities, programs or special events. These photos are for YMCA use only and may be used in publications, brochures, pamphlets, fliers or video productions.
Notification of Fees
Effective September 1, 2007 any bank drafts or checks that are returned for insufficient funds will be charged an automatic fee of $15. Effective November 1, 2007, this fee will be increased to $25. This automatic fee is being processed by an outside source, eCashFlow, on behalf of the YMCA.

Cancellation Terms:
All member cancellation requests must be in writing. Forms are available at the Welcome Desk.
Cancellations CANNOT be made via telephone.
A 30 day cancellation notice is required to stop a bank draft and payroll deductions.
Change of Personal Information:
Please notify the welcome desk of any changes in address or phone numbers.
Please notify the desk if your bank account information changes. A 30 day notice is required to guarantee the draft will be pulled from the new account. Payment may be required for the interim. |
